Glock 19 vs xd

MY pick is Glock > M&P > XD. Glock wins on the larger amount of factory and after market parts. M&P wins on 3 different size of grip, safety (some ppl prefer). XD wins on closer to 1911 style slimmer grip, and free extras like mag holder come with box.

The Glock 19 and XD9 are both fantastic guns. There is nothing wrong with a grip safety just ask the 1911 folks. I prefer the Glock 19 over the XD9 but again both are good weapons. If this gun is primarily for her then go with what she feels more comfortable with. Both guns will get the job done. Maybe get the G19 now and the XD9 later.XD compact .45 ACP vs Glock 30SF.
